LAKE CHESDIN GOLF CLUB AND COVID-19

Actions taken to help ensure health and safety of players and community.

Changes to Play:

The following changes to play have been made at the Lake Chesdin Golf Club:

  • Single carts are allowed to ensure adequate social distancing; the cost per cart per golfer is $25.

  • Length of time between tee times has been increased. This will result in fewer tee times per day.

  • Carts are cleaned with antiseptic after each round of play.

  • Golfers are encouraged to walk the course.

  • Holes have been cut with cups upside down to reduce depth of hole and leaving flag stick in hole at all times is required. Flag sticks are disinfected daily.

  • Beer cart service is on an as-needed basis; you can bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Limited alcohol will be available in the pro shop.

  • Water coolers have been removed from the course and driving range.

  • Rakes have been removed from all sand traps. Please smooth all traps with your foot as best as you can.

  • The driving range remains open but social distance must be maintained. Bag holders have been placed at a sufficient distance apart. Range balls are washed in soap each time they are retrieved.

  • Pins on putting green have been removed.

  • A limited number of customers are allowed in the pro shop at a time to maintain social distance. All doorknobs and counter tops are disinfected on a regular basis.

  • Physical contact between players is strongly discouraged during play and at the end of the round. A simple, “nice shot,” “nice birdie,” and “enjoyed playing with you” is sufficient.

We may be missing some precautions and may add some as we go, so monitor this page. Please be considerate of each person’s feelings and concerns during these unprecedented times.

Restaurant Closed

While the course remains open with the modifications outlined above, effective immediately, the Palate & Pour restaurant and bar are closed. There will be no service for dining in, carrying out, or alcoholic beverages. The reopen date will be driven by state and federal guidelines for food service establishments.

We believe these restrictions will help ensure your safety and that of our community while letting one of the few allowable diversions to continue during the pandemic. As the situation evolves, the Lake Chesdin Golf Club remains committed to providing updates for both the golf course and the restaurant. If you have questions or comments related to the restaurant and golf course, you are encourage to submit them through the golf course website by clicking here.

Thank you for your understanding and support during these challenging times.
